Pacific Whale Foundation chief development officer to present at Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea

The Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea will welcome Josh Heimowitz of Pacific Whale Foundation on Wednesday, March 18.
The Chief Development Officer’s presentation titled “Ocean Conservation in Action” will provide an overview of the foundation’s work to protect whales, dolphins and the ocean through its core program areas of research, conservation, education and outreach.
Founded in 1980, Pacific Whale Foundation is a Maui-based nonprofit that has worked locally and globally to conduct marine research, advance conservation solutions, and inspire people to care for the ocean.
Heimowitz joined Pacific Whale Foundation in 2024, leading fundraising and partnerships that support the organization’s research, conservation, education, and outreach programs. He works with donors, community leaders, and corporate partners to advance its mission to inspire and advance conservation for whales, dolphins and the ocean.
The presentation will take place at Kihei Lutheran Church, at 220 Moi Place. Social time and a light lunch will begin at 11:15 a.m., followed by the program from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome. RSVP to president@RCKW.org
