Four Seasons Resort to host Earth Day Expo on April 22
Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, in collaboration with Maui United Way, will host its second annual Earth Day Expo on April 22.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the resort and will feature educational booths, interactive activities and short presentations from community organizations focused on environmental and cultural stewardship.
Participating organizations include Mauna Kahālāwai Watershed Partnership, Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter, Mālama Maui Nui, Hawai’i Association for Marine Education and Research, Hawai’i Nature Center, Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project, Grow Some Good, West Maui Green Cycle, Kaiaulu Initiatives and Pacific Whale Foundation.
“The Earth Day Expo is about bringing people together to learn from one another and to celebrate the many community-led efforts caring for Maui,” said Taylor Fujimoto, sustainability manager at Four Seasons Resort Maui.
Makana Rosete, community impact manager at Maui United Way, said the event provides an opportunity for residents, organizations and visitors to connect and support efforts to build a more resilient Maui.
The expo is part of ongoing sustainability initiatives at the resort, including partnerships supporting Keālia Pond restoration, ocean-friendly restaurant certification, reef-safe sunscreen efforts and a food-waste composting program.

Mālama Maui Nui to host Earth Day speaker series
Mālama Maui Nui will host a Talking ʻŌpala speaker series event from 5-6 p.m. April 22 at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.
The event will feature Eddy Garcia, founder of Regenerative Education Centers, and Joseph Imhoff, co-founder and president of Haleakala Biochar.
The speakers will discuss fire prevention and native ecosystem restoration, highlighting locally driven solutions to support Maui’s environmental resilience.
The event is held in partnership with the Four Seasons Resort Maui and is open to the public. The program will take place in the resort’s ballroom at 3900 Wailea Alanui Drive.
