Pet of the Week: Nina
Aloha Kākou, my name is Nina and I am Maui Humane Society's Pet of the Week! My story started on Christmas Eve when I was found at Kahului Harbor, scared, shy, and a little hurt. It took some time, healing, and lots of TLC, but I’ve blossomed into a whole new girl. These days, I absolutely adore people, think other pups are pretty great company, and I’m always ready to make a new friend. I know how to sit and offer my paw, which I like to show off casually just in case anyone is watching. My true talent, though, is toy tossing—straight up into the sky, dramatic pause, joyful chase, repeat forever. I’m sweet, playful, and full of personality, with so much love to give. If your home is missing laughter, love, and the occasional flying toy, then I'm the girl for you!
The Pet of the Week is submitted by the Maui Humane Society to promote adoptions at the Maui Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. For more information or to make an appointment, call (808) 877-3680, ext. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday or visit MauiHumaneSociety.org.
