Free cancer screenings available for eligible women
The Hawaii Department of Health is offering free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women who meet age, income and insurance requirements. The Hawaii Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program is open to women ages 40 to 64 whose income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level and who are uninsured or underinsured. Women may qualify as underinsured if they cannot afford their copay or deductible or their insurance does not cover cancer screening. An online eligibility form is available at mammogram.hawaii.gov.
