Paʻūpili Lahaina 3rd Saturdays will return from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lahaina United Methodist Church as part of the three-day Lahaina Homecoming celebration. Hosted by the Maui Economic Recovery Commission's Healing Journey Team, the free monthly gathering is designed to promote healing, connection and community resilience for Lahaina residents impacted by the 2023 wildfires. Kula Community Association seeks water tanks in Upcountry to fight fires

The Kula Community Association is urging the development of two new high-elevation water tanks to fight wildfires in Kula. Jordan Hocker, president of the association, said no tangible progress has been made to secure a water backup system since the August 2023 wildfires destroyed a number of homes in the Upcountry area. Maui Health, Mauliola Pharmacy partner to launch bedside prescription delivery service

Maui Health and Mauliola Pharmacy are working together to provide bedside prescription delivery services for patients being discharged from Maui Memorial Medical Center. According to Maui Health, the partnership has led to two new programs — Meds to ER and Meds to Beds — that are designed to make the transition from hospital to home easier, safer and more convenient for patients.
