Affordable-housing project awaits County Council action
The Hoʻonani Village Mixed Use Development — one of the largest affordable-housing projects in Central Maui over the last 10 years — will be reviewed at Friday’s County Council meeting, according to Council member Tamara Paltin. Friday’s agenda includes a report from the Disaster Recovery, International Affairs and Planning Committee recommending passage of Bills 163 and 164 to support the project by updating the Maui Island Plan and Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan.
