Hiromi Harold Shimizu, 85

Services honoring Mr. Shimizu were held privately at his request.

Harold was born on March 30, 1931 in Wailuku to Kiyosuke & Itoyo Shimizu. After graduating high school, Harold served in Army during the Vietnam war, he was stationed in Germany for over a year. He eventually retired as a general foreman in high grade electric services. When he wasn’t working, Harold enjoyed fishing and playing the mandolin and guitar. His favorite though, was traveling to Las Vegas frequently with his beloved wife, Patsy to test his luck on the slot machines.

Harold is survived by his wife of 54 years, Fusako “Patsy” Shimizu; sons, Wesley (Kara) Shimizu, Donny Shimizu & Terence Yamada; daughters, Wendy Shimizu, Corrine (Larry) Horie, & Cheryl (Robert) Nagamine.
