Elias D. Corpuz, Sr., 85, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on August 5, 2016, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 20, 1931, in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Norman’s Mortuary; service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 2:00 p.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku.
Elias was a retired Luna at Pioneer Mill. He was a humble, hardworking man who enjoyed fishing, yardwork, and spending time with his family. Elias was predeceased by his wife, Getrodes P. Corpuz; survived by his sons, Roland Corpuz, Stevenson (Jan) Corpuz, Elias (Richlette) Corpuz, Jr.; daughters, Jennifer (Bart) Barangan, Teri P. (Skip Westcott) Corpuz; sisters, Petra Domingo, Eutropia Alipio, Sylvia Celeregia; 13 grandchildren, Jayson (Jennifer), Jonathan (Mary), Joanie (Jaysee), Sally (Corey), Michael, Janie, Jeffrey, Krystal, Isaiah, Noah, Kalani, Jonah, Micah; and 5 great grandchildren, Milo, Pike, Luella, Thea, Kaimana.
