Kasumi (Muraoka) Oyama, 89
Kasumi Oyama, 89 of Makawao, Maui passed away on June 24, 2016 at her residence under the care of her loving family and Islands Hospice. She was born on May 11, 1927 on the island of Kauai.
Kasumi is survived by her children: Dwight (Kris) Oyama, Dexter (Sherri) Oyama, Valerie (Roy) Tempo, Milton (Danette) Oyama, Norman (Clara) Oyama, Michele (Oyama) Hamanaka, Ishmael Oyama, Cynthia (Leroy) Amano, Grandchildren’s, and Great Grandchildren’s.
A private burial service will be held at Punchbowl National Cemetery on August 12, 2016; the family request that you respect their privacy and allow them to share this time with their mother.
