Roger Cannaoay Ruiz, 42
Roger Cannaoay Ruiz, 42, formerly of Molokai, ended his battle with cancer on July 24, 2016 in Oxnard, California. He was born on Dec 2, 1973 in Darigayos, La Union, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului. Viewing & Memorial Service will be held from 9:00am to 12noon on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Wailuku. Burial to follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
For many years, Roger was a dedicated and admirable employee of Los Posas Country Club. He was devoted to fishing, enjoyed cooking, traveling and golfing with friends. Roger was always there to help others out, and he loved spending time with family & friends and always making them laugh.
He is preceded in death by his father, Constantino A. Ruiz, Sr. He is survived by his son, Isiah and life partner, Noreen; mother, Antonina; sisters Sylvia (Willie) Mina, Margie (Harold) Ruiz, Jennie Ruiz; brothers Rey Ruiz, Dante (Leslie) Ruiz of Las Vegas, Rodaree (Helen) Ruiz, Manny (Kristine) Ruiz, Constantino Ruiz, Jr., 22 nieces & nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
