Shizuko I. Fukutomi, 97, of Kahului, passed away on June 4, 2016. She was born in Kaheka, Paia to Kurazo and Mitsuyo Iwamoto, on July 15, 1918.
Shizuko retired from Sears, Roebuck, working for many years in the catalog department. She was predeceased by her husband Nick C. Fukutomi, and is survived by her children: Roy (Melissa) Fukutomi, Susan (Kevin) Mihata, and Leigh (Pamela) Fukutomi; grandchildren: Greg Fukutomi, Darryl Fukutomi, Kevin Mihata, Michael Mihata, Courtney Yamashiro, Kara Rusho; great-grandchildren: Brittnee Fukutomi, Hart Fukutomi, Brysen Fukutomi, Kai Mihata, Annika Mihata, Brie-Ann Fukutomi.
Honoring Shizuko’s request, private family services were held. The family extends a warm Mahalo for the many kindnesses they have received and requests no koden.
