Gary M. Toyama, 70
Gary Mitsuru Toyama, 70, of Kahului, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2017, under the care of Islands Hospice and his loving family.
Services were held privately.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Gary was born in Kalihi on February 12, 1947 to Mitsuo & Kimie Toyama. He was the second of three children.
After graduating from Farnington high school in 1965. Gary worked as an ironworker with Associated Steel Company for over 30 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed his dogs. Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Janice Toyama; sons, Ryan (Gabrielle) Toyama & Ken Toyama; sisters, Caroleen Toyama & Dale Schwab; nephew, Matt Schwab; and best friend, Kuni and Nieces and Nephews.
