Julita M. Kaiama, 97

Julita was born in Wailuku on June 16, 1926.

Julita is survived by her children, Verna (Francis) Takakura, Kimo Kaiama, and Paul (Cyndie) Kaiama; grandchildren, Gavin (Kacyn Figueria) Takakura, Megan Takakura, Brandie-Jaye (Isaiah) Diaz, Kyson-Lee Kaiama, Braydon-Mitchell Kaiama; great grandchildren, Kohlton-John Diaz, Kynzlie-Jayde Diaz, Tyleia Takakura, Teyzia Takakura; and brother, Santiago Magallanes.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Kaiama; and brother, Marciel Celebrado.

The family would like to send a special “Mahalo” to the staff of Hale Makua Wailuku – Lanai for their years of dedicated care of her. Also, to Hospice Maui during the last months.

Private services were held.
