Leona “Vicky” Victoria Castillo, 74

She was born on April 12, 1949 in Paia, Maui.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului; service will begin at 7 p.m., and cremation will follow.

Leona worked as a secretary for the State of Hawaii, Medquest Division, until she retired.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Castillo (Nisha Santana); daughters, Michele (Jon) Pagaduan, and Kristy (Nolan) Au; grandchildren, Sheylynn Santos-Castillo, Shyanne, Shalea and Tytan Castillo, Lory-ann Pacil, Lilinoe Andrade-Santana, Jonah, Micah and Nainoa Pagaduan, Ha’aheo, Kamaha’o, Natasha-Rae, and Kili’ohu Au; great grandchildren, Kule’a and Asher Pagaduan, Kawailani Au, and Haliko Kan-Hai; brothers, Anthony & Douglas Mina; sisters, Theodora “Doda” Rapoza, Winnie Largo, Rene “Bobbie” Lopes-Lathan, Annette Murashita; hanai sisters, Maile Sombelon, and Lucille “Lulu” Hamamoto; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicky is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Castillo; grandson, Noah Au; parents, Victoriano & Mary Mina; and sister, Madge Maliikapu.
