Cedric Alonzo

June 18, 1956 – May 2, 2024

Cedric Ciriaco Kealaonaonaokeaumoe Maika’i Alonzo, 67, of Kula, Maui and Kalama’ula Mauka, Moloka’i passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Cedric was born on June 18, 1956 in Puna, Hawaii. He is predeceased by his parents Doroteo Palacpa Alonzo Sr and Annie Maika’i, and Grandchildren Miracle Joy and Heavenly Kealoha-Alonzo.

Cedric is survived by his wife Lynell Kuuipo Gonsalves Alonzo; Sons, CJ (Sunday) Kealoha-Alonzo Jr., Harold Kealoha-Alonzo (Kaui); and daughter Leonora Kealoha-Alonzo. Grandchildren-Joshua, Trinity, Leland, Elijah, Noah, JJ, Teruah, Jubilee, Jireh, and Great Grandchild Renesmae Valdez-Hanchett.

His siblings, Ronnie Alonzo, Molly (Dave) Vogt, Breverly (Francis) Blas, Doroteo “Bobo” (Vanessa) Alonzo, Ben (Clareen) Alonzo, George (Debbie) Jacob.

His Father and Mother In-Law, Byron (Virginia) Gonsalves, Sister In-laws and Brother in-laws, Lianne (Derek) Ventura and Brandon (Darcie) Gonsalves.

Cedric loved working at Hawaii Sea Spirits – Ocean Vodka as a Production Technician.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Ghost Church in Kula on June 22, 2024. Visitation over urn starting at 9:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am with lunch to follow in the Hall. A service on Moloka’i will be held at a later date.
