Peter Ridela
Peter Pedro Ridela, affectionately known by all as Peter, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, at the age of 85 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Born on May 19, 1938, in the beautiful town of Kohala, Hawaii. He lived in Puunene, Hawaii and attended Baldwin High School. He later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and worked for Chevron. Peter’s life was a tapestry of hard work, dedication, and the simple joys that make life so precious.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Ridela; his son, Michael (Joy) Ridela; his daughters, Roxanne (Eddie) Sivalop and Maxine (Andrew) Duropan. His 5 grandchildren, Ethan Ridela, Lauren Ridela, Jonathan Sivalop, Isabel Duropan and Kaitlyn Duropan.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 on Oahu at Mililani Mortuary (Ka Uka Blvd., Mililani) at the Makai Chapel.
Visitation begins at 9:30am and service at 11am.
