Faustino Labutong Tabios of Lahaina, passed away at Hale Makua in Kahului on August 6, 2022. He is survived by daughter, Erlinda Tabios Delos Santos (Elpidio, deceased), son Florendo Tabios (Alma), and Melandrino Tabios (Myr-na). His wife, Monica Tabios,passed away in 2008, along with his daughter, Nicolas in 1946, Margarita Nelson (Robert, deceased) in 2021, his sister Serafina Salvador in 2012, and his granddaughter, Marilyn Delos Santos in 2016. Mae Kimiko Taketa, of Wailuku, passed away on August 12, 2022 at her home. She was born on September 14, 1927 in Paia. After raising her children, she worked at Kato Dry Goods and Peggy’s and Johnny’s. Her hobbies included sewing and doing craft work. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very proud of them.
