Thomas M. "Galanto" Nakagawa, 78, of Wailuku passed away peacefully on September 22, 2021. His and Alice ashes will be scattered over the ocean off Maui. Tom served proudly in the US Navy. He worked at Garrett Ai Research (Los Angeles, CA) and Boeing (Haleakala). Returning to Maui, he supported the Pacific Whale Foundation; flew glider airplanes & carved unique walking canes and crosses.
