She passed away in her sleep on October 20, 2021 at Hale Makua Kahului, surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was comfortable throughout, with the care of Hale Makua & Hospice Maui staff. Juanita is a retired employee at HC&S. She is described as a good person and a hard worker. Richard Shinkichi Miyasato, 88, of Kahului, Maui passed away on October 11, 2021, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 5, 1933, in Puunene, Maui. Richard graduated from Baldwin High School in 1951; served in the U.S. Army; and attended University of Hawaii at Manoa on Oahu.
