Esther E. Rivera of Makawao, Maui went home to be with our Lord on February 18, 2021. She was born in Kaheka, Maui on June 5, 1931. Esther worked in the Libby’s Pineapple Cannery, Gate 21, and several other flower farms before retiring. She is preceded in death by her first hus-band Lorito Valoroso and is survived by her current husband Leroy Rivera, daughter Gail Valoroso, and sister Carol Casaquit (Larry) of Honolulu. Mildred Sakamoto of Kahului, Maui passed away on February 17, 2021. She was born in Wailuku, Maui on May 13, 1924. Mildred worked in the Department of Education as a teacher and retired from Wailuku Elementary School.
