Junko J. Masuda, 91, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020, at her residence under the care of her loving family and Hospice Maui. Junko was born on April 17, 1929, in Paia, Maui. Private family services will be held. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. Zita Mendoza Morales, 46, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on April 29, 2020, at her home under the care of Hospice Maui, with her loving family at her side. She was born on August 19, 1973, in Asan Norte Sison Pangasinan, Philippines. Zita attended the University of Pagasinan in Dagupan City, Philippines and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in nursing. Sachiko Higa, 99, of Pukalani, Maui passed away at Kula Hospital, April 16, 2020, where she resided from May 1, 2011. She was born on May 1, 1920, in Paia, Maui, to the late Seichi and Sayo Higa. After her family moved back to Okinawa, at the age of 5, she lived with hanai parents, the late Yoshi and Hyakusai (Asato) Higa. Sachiko is predeceased by her husband, Zenjiro Higa and her sister, Yoneko (Kinsho) Higa.
