Sione “Pita” Lapale Poasi, 67 of Lahaina, passed away on February 22, 2020, at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku. He was born on July 30, 1952 in Haapai, Tonga. Private family services will be held. Sione was a groundskeeper at Royal Lahaina Resort until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Florence N. Lisa Anne Howlett of Kula, Maui passed away on March 9, 2020. She was born on August 3, 1966 in Arcadia, California. She graduated from St Anthony High School and Pacific University. She worked in Social Services for many years. She grew up in the Maui Youth Theatre and volunteered with Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA).
