Matilda Ku‘ulei Bruhn, 95, of Waikapu, Maui and Waimanalo, O’ahu died on December 25, 2019, at home. Born in Honuapo, Ka’u, she was retired from Hale Makua on Maui. Preceeded in death by sisters Mary Harry and Leilani Iao, and brother Rueben Cockett. She is survived by sister Elma Aoki, son Jimmy Bruhn (Stacey), daughters Bootsie Kauwe (Kula), Ellen Kauka (Ken), Lee Yee (Tony, deceased), Cindy Weiding (Dwight), 16 grand-children, 40 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
