He was born in the Puunene Hospital on September 2, 1952 to the late James and Mitsue Aloy. Richard Elvin Ross, 86 of Haiku passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, October 22nd 2019. He was born in Portland Oregon, on February 4th 1933. Richard graduated with an engineering degree from Stanford University. He went on to work for Lockheed Martin at their new Rocket Test Base in the Santa Cruz Mountains. He later transferred to Ocean Systems in Sunnyvale and San Diego, and was the Chief Pilot for the deep Quest Submarine.
