Private services were held She worked for many years as a Nurse's Aide at Hale Makua in Wailuku and retired from the Maui Memorial Hospital. Kay Yoshiko Nakatani, 87, of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2018 with loving family by her side. Services honoring Ms. Nakatani were held privately by family. Kay was born on March 3, 1931 to Mr. Moriichi and Mrs. Mine Tachibana in Hiroshima, Japan. Kay worked as a Custodian at Maui High School. She worked very hard and took great pride in providing for her family.
