Terry Seichi Sakaitani, 87, of Kahului, peacefully passed on to his eternal home on February 16, 2018, under the wonderful care of Hospice Maui. He was laid to rest at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao. Terry was born on May 22, 1930 in Puunene and grew up in Spreckelsville. He served as a rifleman in the Korean War in the Army’s 7th Division, receiving the Purple Heart for serious wounds sustained during combat.
