She was born on January 9, 1923, in Cadaratan, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku. Ruth Kiyoko Masuoka Okamura, 87, of Kula, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2017, at Hale Makua Kahului. Services honoring Mrs. Okamura were held privately at her request.
