Yoshiyuki “Yot” Fujiyama, 91, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui, with his loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Fujiyama will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Lahaina Hongwanji, with visitation at 9:00am, and service at 10:00am. Mr. Fujiyama will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Ms. Angie “Pake” Solamillo passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 at her home under the loving care of her niece, “Aunty” Patty Nishiyama. She was born on May 30, 1933 at Pioneer Mill Hospital in Lahaina to Maria Martinez and Calixto Solamillo and grew up at Puukolii Camp. Angie graduated from Lahainaluna High School, resided briefly in Honolulu, then moved to Los Angeles where she graduated from UCLA.
