Angie “Pake” Solamillo, 83

Ms. Angie “Pake” Solamillo passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 at her home under the loving care of her niece, “Aunty” Patty Nishiyama. She was born on May 30, 1933 at Pioneer Mill Hospital in Lahaina to Maria Martinez and Calixto Solamillo and grew up at Puukolii Camp. Angie graduated from Lahainaluna High School, resided briefly in Honolulu, then moved to Los Angeles where she graduated from UCLA. Joyce Evelyn Koja, 76, of Kula, passed away on March 18, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 30, 1940 in California. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 7 p.m., and cremation will follow.
