Thelma K. Yoshiko Kawamura, 79, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2017 at the Islands Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Services honoring Mrs. Kawamura were held privately. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Mrs. Kawamura was born in Lahaina on October 23, 1937 to Kiyoichi & Racheal Kiyonaga. She was one of twelve siblings. She graduated from Lahainaluna High School in 1954, and enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly thereafter.
