Nadao Makimoto, 92, of Waikapu, passed away at home on January 10, 2017. Services honoring Mr. Makimoto will be held at Makawao Hongwanji on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  Visitation will begin at 10am with memorial service to follow at 11am.  Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. Nadao was born on June 20, 1924 in Kula to Hatsugoro & Tatsu Makimoto.  He was the eldest son of 9 children.  Nadao was a life-long vegetable farmer who also enjoyed karaoke and traveling to Las Vegas. Cyrilla P. Medeiros, 90, of Wailuku, passed away on January 14, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on April 11, 1926 in Paia, Maui. Private family services were held. Cyrilla is survived by her son, Donald (Peggy) Medeiros; 5 granddaughters, Lisa Medeiros, Nani Medeiros, Sunny Medeiros, Liyan Medeiros, and Erin (Duane) Sparkman; 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Stanley Masayoshi Miyabara, 80, of Kahului, passed away at home on January 2, 2017.  Family services were held on Oahu.  Please, no koden or flowers. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
