Elizabeth Ann Ivey, 62 of Huelo, Maui passed away on January 12, 2017 at her family home in Kihei, Maui. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Kenolio Recreation Complex (old Kihei School cafeteria) in Kihei from 4:00pm-7:00pm. She is survived by sons, Thomas Albritton and Shane Albritton; grandson, Thomas Vaethroeder; sister, Jay Ivey-Hinely and brothers, John Ivey and Tom Ivey. John L. Kostrick, 71

John L. Kostrick, 71, passed away January 11, 2017. He was a former resident of Redford Township, Michigan, but has lived in Hawaii for almost 50 years. John was a diver in the Navy and served three tours in Vietnam. He then moved to Hawaii, working in the hotel industry and ended his career with the Maui County Water Department. Visitacion P. Laureta, 89, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017, at the Hospice Maui Hale with her loving family by her side. Nadao Makimoto, 92, of Waikapu, passed away at home on January 10, 2017. Cyrilla P. Medeiros, 90, of Wailuku, passed away on January 14, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on April 11, 1926 in Paia, Maui. Private family services were held. Stanley M. Miyabara, 80

Stanley Masayoshi Miyabara, 80, of Kahului, passed away at home on January 2, 2017.  Family services were held on Oahu.  Please, no koden or flowers. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
