Destiny “Kaehu” DeLima, 30

Destiny “Kaehu” DeLima, 30 of Paia passed away on November 25, 2016.  She was born January 19, 1986 in Wailuku. A Memorial Service will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 8:30am-11:00am with service at 11:00am. Kaehu is predeceased by her grandparents, David DeLima Sr and Eleanor L. DeLima, and her father, David DeLima Jr.  She is survived by her son, Bishop; mother, Angela DeLima; grandmother, Sharon Hong and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank A. Alameda, Jr., 80, a native of Maui, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in New Albany, Indiana. Frank was born on November 14, 1936, in Lahaina, Maui County, Territory of Hawaii to Gen. Frank A. Alameda, Sr. (Ret.), and Lilly K. (Apo) Alameda. He graduated from Baldwin High School in Wailuku, Maui, and attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Frank served in the United States Army, with most of his service time spent in Stuttgart, Germany, where he was also a member of the U.S. Army European Soccer Team.
