Toshio Takamiya, 84

Toshio Takamiya, 84, of Wailuku passed away peacefully on September 24, 2016 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center with his family by his side. Private services were held. Toshio was born on March 16, 1932 in Wailuku, Maui to Jitsuji and Masako Takamiya.  He graduated from Henry Perrine Baldwin High School and attended Auto Mechanic School on the Mainland.  He also served in the United States Air Force and in the Korean War.  He lived and worked in Los Angeles for many years before returning home to Maui where he worked as an Auto Mechanic and was part owner of JST Automotive.  He ...
