Irene Yuen Fung Ching Chung passed away peacefully at Kula Hospital on August 7, 2024 at the age of 101. Irene was born on September 30, 1922 at Kamaole (Kula), Maui to Kim Seu and Len Kyau Ching, the fourth of thirteen siblings. She was predeceased by her husband Mook Kui (Moon) Chung and survived by son Nelson (Charlotte) Chung, son Milton (Shu-na) Chung and daughter Lynette (Brian) Nakashima; grandchildren Christy Chung, Kenny Chung, Cody Chung, Michael Chung, Monica Chung, Kelly Nakashima; and great granddaughter Sydney Chung.
