I’m the grandmother of a King Kekaulike High School freshman, and demand answers from the athletic director and football coaches.

First, you all (more than one coach) recruited freshman boys to fill in the varsity team. Those boys were really excited. They practiced every day after school till 6 p.m.

But when game day comes, not one freshman is sent on the field.

This is not the first time these coaches messed up. I had four other older grandsons who played on the team, and they all quit. So did other boys. Because of these same coaches.

My question is simple. Why? How is it you are all still coaching? You selfishly did not care about any of these boys.

Football season is over. Your coaching should also be over.
