Bears pull away in 2nd quarter, beat Sabers 55-25

Trotter Apo scored 10 of his team-high 13 points in the second quarter as the Baldwin High School boys basketball team rolled past Maui High 55-25 on Tuesday night at the Shine Matsui Athletic Center in Kahului.
Apo and the Bears outscored the Sabers 27-8 in the second period to break open what had been a two-point game after the first. Apo and teammate Kolt Yarbrough, who added 10 points, scored all their points in the first half, which ended with Baldwin holding a 37-16 lead.
Avery Pauole scored all 11 of his points in the second half as the Bears improved to 3-2 in Maui Interscholastic League play.
Jermaine Baguyo led the Sabers (2-4) with 10 points.
