Sports Lessons: I enjoy learning more and more about myself as an athlete. As I meet new obstacles, I am empowered by overcoming them throughout my sports journey. I enjoy being surrounded by other student athletes on all my teams. It’s nice to see the outcome of all the hard work we put in.

Being an athlete has taught me about perseverance and strengthening relationships. All the sports I’ve done at Maui High involves a lot of running, which requires mental strength. I always showed up to practice, ready to do the best I can. I’ve pushed myself to do difficult things and I have learned to embrace success with my dedicated team, who communicates well with one another.
