Kamehameha Maui won its last regular season Maui Interscholastic League season football game 36-18 over King Kekaulike on Friday. After winning last year’s state tournament, the defending champions went undefeated in MIL Division II play this year. The Warriors have earned a bye in the first round and will be among the four teams in the semi-finals scheduled on Nov. 22. King Kekaulike lost to Campbell 24-26, 19-25, 25-14, 25-21, 15-9, in the first round of the state playoffs Wednesday. Gwyneth McKillip recorded a team-high 14 kills, followed by Nanea Guarin with 12 kills and Naleeya Lund had 10. Alana Birrer and Nanea Kealoha each had 20 assists, and Kahiau Sores logged 17 digs in the match.
