Miller-Yoder, Maldonado win MIL cross country titles

Seabury Hall's Silas Miller-Yoder and Kamehameha Maui's Keilana Maldonado captured individual titles Saturday at the Maui Interscholastic League cross country championships at Baldwin High School. Miller-Yoder won the boys 5,000-meter race in 17 minutes, 9 seconds, leading a Seabury Hall sweep of the top four places that included Brady Punu (17:24), Remi Kuriger (17:57) and Brendan Punu (17:58). An inclusive community “Roll With Us” event will be Nov. 7 at Keopuolani Regional Park, bringing families, volunteers and participants together for an accessible outdoor activity.
