HONOLULU — K’Vion Thunderbird returned an interception 59 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter and Fresno State beat Hawaii 23-21 on Saturday night in the Mountain West Conference opener for both teams. Seabury Hall girls XC third at Iolani Invite

The Seabury Hall girls cross country team finished third at the Iolani Invitational on Saturday at Hawaii Country Club on Oahu. The three-mile Greg Char Championship girls race featured 15 teams and more than 120 runners from across the state. Seabury was led by senior Freya Carlsen, who finished sixth overall at 18:46. Carlsen was followed by teammates Isabella Grossman, who finished 12th overall at 19:19, and Skyla Prather, who took 17th place at 19:54.
