UH extramural funding sets record at $505M

The Maui News For the first time in its history, the University of Hawaii 10-campus system topped half a billion dollars in extramural funding with a record $505 million in fiscal year 2022, which ended June 30, according to a news release Thursday. Free at-home COVID-19 tests will be handed out during a pau hana drive-thru distribution from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku, the county announced. The Maui News Maui Health is now providing Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 6 months through 5 years old, the hospital operator announced Tuesday.
