Republican Gil Rebolledo will hold a rally for his state House campaign from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku.Admission is free. Accountants group endorses Tegarden

The Hawaii Association of Public Accountants has endorsed Deidre Tegarden, who is running for the South Maui residency state House seat.HAPA is the only statewide professional organization of public accountants with chapters on Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai and represents about 500 members statewide, with about 100 members in the Maui Chapter.Most HAPA members are owners/partners or staff in small to mid-sized CPA firms in Hawaii, according to an announcement from Tegarden's campaign.Tegarden is a Democratic candidate for the House District 11 seat.
