Maui Baha’i plan celebration The Maui Baha’i community will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Baha’u’llah, the prophet founder of the Baha’i faith, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku. Old Testament subject of class Transformation School of Ministries’ next class will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 7. High Holy Days schedule released The “Days of Awe” (Yamim Nora’im) begin with Rosh Hashanah on the first day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei (the eve of Sept. 20) and end 10 days later after Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
