Legendary rock vocalist Steven Tyler surveys the crowd at the start of his concert at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s A&B Amphitheater on Thursday night in Kahului. Backed by the The Loving Mary Band, Tyler delivered a fun, high-energy show that featured hits from Aerosmith like “Dream On” and “Janie’s Got a Gun,” as well as riffs from the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. He started with “Sweet Emotion” and closed with “Walk This Way.” Opening act Willie K got the crowd in a rocking mood with bandmates Kris Thomas and Jerry Breyer and vocalist Gretchen Rhodes. Tyler, who has a home on Maui, brought Willie back on stage to jam during his performance.
