The 97th Maui Fair — “Create Memories, Share Moments” — will be held Oct. 3 to 6 at the War Memorial Complex.

The fair will open with the traditional parade down Kaahumanu and Kanaloa avenues on Oct. 3.

The annual event, which attracts approximately 90,000 people, includes the E.K. Fernandez Joy Zone with carnival rides and games, local food booths, entertainment, contests and exhibits from art to vegetables. Many community nonprofits and organizations use the sales from the four-day event as their major fundraiser.

There also will be the Maui Fair Products & Services Tent.

The fair is alcohol-, smoke- and drug-free.
