Water rights are getting to be a big topic now. From where do they measure the water flow? Each source should be measured on its own flow, not the total in the ditch. For each source the flow is different and there is a lot of wasted water because of the need of repairs of the ditch where water flows.

Who goes up the river and cleans them to make sure its flowing right and not being diverted elsewhere? I was told the water is free. It is the transmission of the water we pay for and I agree.

This is a joint project to repair the flow of water. If you want the water not only one-sided, get together and solve the problem. I can tell you that if the ditch carrying the water had no leaks there would be water for everyone. More for the farmers and enough flow for the rest.
