Rudy Yagin, of Kahului, passed away on June 5, 2023, at his home. He was born on December 28, 1938 in Barrio Tapao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Visitation will be from 6p.m. to 9p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Service will begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Maui Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation.
Rudy retired from HC&S where he worked as a Mason Luna.
He is survived by his wife, Segundina Yagin; children, Marilyn (Ron) Martin, Amelia (Edmund) Greenidge, Melvin (Michelle) Yagin, and Ashley (Jon) Fernandez; sister, Corazon Yadao; sister-in-law, Cecelia Yagin; grandchildren, Xonie Martin, Mikaela Martin, Alika Greenidge, and Shelby Fontanilla; great-grandchildren, Tatyana Yagin-Fernandez, Jaden Fernandez, and Kaimana Fernandez.
Rudy is predeceased by his parents, Felix and Dionicia Yagin; son, Moriel Yagin; daughter, Melba Fontanilla; brother, Cresencio Yagin; sisters, Rosalina Yagin, Eufrosina Ilac; and brother-in-law, Bonifacio Yadao.
