The pop and rhythm and blues group 98 Degrees will be performing at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion on Feb. 13.
Tickets go on sale to the public today after being available only to MACC members since Oct. 26.
The male R&B group includes brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre. The concert also will feature special guest Josh Tatofi.
From 1997 to 2002, 98 Degrees sold 10 million records, scored a chart-topping single with Mariah Carey's "Thank God I Found You," and collaborated with their collective idol, Stevie Wonder, on "True to Your Heart," for the 1998 animated Disney film "Mulan," the MACC news release said.
Their 1998 "98 Degrees and Rising" sold 4 million albums and had top five favorites "Because of You," "I Do" and "The Hardest Thing."
Another album in 2000, "Revelation," sold 2 million copies and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and yielded hits "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)," "My Everything" and "The Way You Want Me To."
The group emerged at a time when teen-oriented groups such as the Spice Girls, The Backstreet Boys and NSYNC were just hitting the top of the charts around the world, the MACC news release said.
The group decided to take a break in 2001 and other than a single TV appearance in 2004, it would be more than a decade before the four members would sing again in 2013 and tour with with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men.
In 2017, the group released a holiday album, "Let It Snow."
Showtime is 7 p.m., gates open at 6.
Tickets are $49, $59, $79 and $129 Gold Circle seating, plus fees. Gold Circle seats offer exclusive access to the Yokouchi Pavilion bars and restrooms.
Tickets are available at the MACC Box Office, by phone at 242-SHOW (7469) and online at MauiArts.org. The MACC Box Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
