Walter H. Teruya, 67, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2019 at his residence with loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Teruya were held privately by family. Walter was born on February 6, 1952 to Mr. Saburo and Mrs. Sakae Teruya in Tokyo, Japan. Walter was the proprietor of the Teruya Tofu and Noodle Factory in Wailuku. Walter H. He was a retired Lanai High and Elementary School teacher, coach, and athletic director.
